The VT GMR-001 is easy to install, and made of the same tough polymer as the GLOCK™ factory part. The extended release is just perfect…not too short, not too long, i.e. the magazine will not accidentally release if pistol is laid on a hard surface. Perfect with use of back strap mounted lasers. For Gen 1, 2 & 3 pistols only. Not for use with Gen 4 pistols. Fits GLOCK™ models G17, 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 37.

Worth the purchass
I can stand the stock release and I’ve purchased and used the other style extended releases from glockstore which sticks out too far - this one is just the right length.

Great replacement
I bought this after reading about other non-polymer products and how they can damage polymer magazines. This product is a great replacement for the stock glock part and is not only slightly extended, but not as sharp around the edges. Great value and very simple to change.

extended mag release
I have installed the extended mag release as well as the extended slide lock on all 3 of my Glocks , G19 , G26 , G20 ( mag release only ) , I dont monkey around alot with my weapon systems but I have made the jump to the slide release and extended mag release because it just made sence to do it . I run several classes with them and I absolutley would recomend them . When you do as many mag dumps and slide releases that you encounter in any given 500 rd courses , you will thank your self . Over and over ......................

Extended mag catch
Perfect size I would have to change my grip to be able to release a magazine on my Glock 19 gen 3 with the factory mag release. I can easily drop a mag now with no grip change. Truly the perfect size for me and does not feel too large or able to be accidentally activated
