Now available in GLOCK® Battlefield Green, and GLOCK® OD Green!

Anyone with average- to small hands now can easily perform magazine changes without shifting their firing grip on the weapon. The VT GMR-003 is easy to install, and made of the same tough polymer as the GLOCK® factory part. The extended release is just perfect…not too short, not too long, i.e. the magazine will not accidentally release if pistol is laid on a hard surface. Perfect with use of back strap mounted lasers. Ambidextrous. Not for use with Gen 1, 2, & 3 pistols.

    Flawless

You wouldn’t think the slight bump would make a difference, but it does. It makes reloads more consistent and smoother. It’s the only mag release I use now

    Increased required force to depress

Posted by Vinson Guov on Nov 2nd 2021

I have a Glock 19 Gen 5 and wanted to try out a different magazine release. I installed this one and I noticed it became more difficult to press the release down. The contouring of this release compared to the original release is nice but because it became stiffer, it became uncomfortable to use and I had to reinstall my original release. It also messed with how it retains the magazine, required more force to get the magazine to click and lock in. I'm not sure if my experience with this product specifically pertains to Gen 5, since I have no Gen 4 to compare to, so take this review with a grain of salt.
