It’s back, and back to stay. A few years back, TangoDown® Inc was contracted to design and manufacture the next evolution AK grip for a now defunct company in Arizona. It became one of the most popular aftermarket improvements to the AK rifle, ever. The company? Not so much.

We always liked the product, and the shooting public did too, showering us with emails to bring it back to the commercial market. So, after we located the original tooling, the BG-AK grip is now available again. The same grip, by the original designers, from the original molds.

Beware of cheap imitations! If it looks like the BG-AK, but doesn't have our urethane storage cover, it's not the real thing.

    I ordered this grip based on reviews. I have slightly less than large hands. When I put my hand around the grip pre-installation, I thought it might not be a good fit for me. After installing the grip, wow! It feels incredible, I feel like I have much more control over the rifle and the grip doesn't feel thick at all, it feels perfect. On top of being an excellent grip I also get storage.

    I originally outfitted my 103 with a full set of zenitco furniture, to include the RK-3 grip they offer. Purchased a Tango Down after handling a buddies and I'll never go back. Love the fit of this grip so much I came back for a second one to put on my bulgarian 5.45 parts kit. You cannot go wrong with this grip.
