The Severe Duty Battery Cover for the P2 ACRO is a solid upgrade substitute for the OEM
polymer cover. Designed to provide no-fail duty for the P2, in any environmental condition.
Freezing cold, scorching heat, impact and submersion will never hurt your ACRO’s
performance.
Precision CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, with a satin black Type III hardcoat anodized
finish to match the P2 optic body. Deep cut, precise radius slots allow positive non-slip
tightening with the Aimpoint wrench or pocket coin. Supplied top quality O-ring gives moisture
and dust protection for the battery cavity. Raised rim on the cap exterior prevents impact
damage to membrane switch, when used with our AALG-series Lens Guards.
Fits the P2 ACRO only, will not work on the Aimpoint RDS.
Important: Do NOT over tighten. Install until o-ring seats, do not tighten further.

ACRO P2 Severe Duty Cap
The Tango Down severe duty cap is an excellent upgrade to the plastic OEM battery cap. Not only is it more durable, the TD cap allows you to use a coin instead of the Aimpoint tool for battery replacement. It should also be noted, Tango Down has great customer service and stands behind their products. I had an issue that turned out to be user-error, but they were more than willing to help sort it out. Highly recommend.
