Our VTSS-004 Slide Stop is familiar in shape to our G42/G43 slide stop, but has the return spring uprated to handle the additional slide mass of the G48. Precision stamped and formed from 4130 chrome moly steel, heat-treated for a long, durable life. We recommend Glock® Armorer or professional gunsmith installation only. Fits Glock® models G43X, G48.

Hooray!
Easily installed, this slide stop is a great improvement to the OEM version because it gives just enough extra purchase that a one-handed, type 3 stoppage clearance can be achieved. And even for circumstances way less dire, it's awesome to be able to lock back the slide with ease. Had I not ever seen the OEM part on the firearm, I would have thought the Vickers VTSS-004 was it. Nice!

Slide Release
This thing makes a WORLD of difference… I put it in my 43x and the stock slide release was so small and flat, and I don’t have the biggest hands so it made it accessible without moving my hand too far off of my shooting grip. Also the install was so so easy… absolutely a must upgrade!!

Vickers Tactical Slide Stop
I like Glocks, but I don’t think they are perfect. I like a slide stop lever that is a bit easier to release than the stock ones. I have normally used Glock extended slide stops, but when I was looking for one recently for my new G48 MOS I couldn’t find one. So, while searching I found the Glock Store made one and so did Vickers Tactical. I ordered both from the Glock Store to see which one I preferred. Unfortunately, the Vickers Tactical one was on backorder at the Glock Store, but I did receive their part. I won’t go into detail about their part here, but I will say I had some fitment issues and began looking for another alternative. Then I discovered the Vickers Tactical part was available directly from them and ordered one. The part arrived in a reasonable time and installed with no issues at all. It fits perfectly and works as it should. The only reason I am giving it four out of five stars is that for some reason it doesn’t feel as nice as the Glock Store version. I can’t really explain it. I don’t know if different manufacturing methods are used or what it is. But it fits and works perfectly. I can recommend it to others happily.

Super easy to install on my father's G48, he has terrible arthritis in both hands and I'm hoping this helps. He seems to like it so far.

Simple Change for Great Benefit
This simple change to my Glock 48 gave me a great benefit. I had mastered slide stops and slide releases with the OEM stop. But, this product made locking back and releasing the slide much easier. And, it did so without sticking out so much as to interfere with my grip or my holsters. Well done, Vickers Tactical!
