Very little difference from stock
The vickers tactical slide stop shows minimal differences to the stock Glock slide stop. It does seem that some solid research and development went into designing the part. But it’s almost as if they found little to improve on. At a glance the part is almost identical to the stock slide stop but with further inspection I guess you could pick the 2 out of a line up. As for performance I saw no true jaw dropping results, still is a nicely constructed part.

Slide Stop
The Gen 5 version feels like it’s painted or coated in something different than prior versions, or I just have used it enough yet to wear some of the finish off. Still this is one of the 5 mods I do to every Glock I purchase. Cheap, easy to install, and well worth it.

Close to the original
I was recently given a Glock45 from a family member. He hadn't taken the best care of it and had dropped it (I assume). The OEM slide stop was bent and I wasn't sure about replacing it with an extended stop. While this product isn't identical to OEM the differences are minimal, there are a few more grooves which do improve grip, but other than that it'd take a trained eye to know the difference. Installation took maybe 5 minutes (I'd never replaced this specific part in a Gen5 Glock before, but a quick YouTube search and watching the video once got the job done.

Nice and tight to the frame. I'm not getting caught up on it like the OEM Slide Stop. Very happy with this purchase.

Okay, but the best option for gen 5s right now
Not sure why they didn't go with the design as their gen 4 slide stop, which I love. That one has a very prominent shelf that makes release a breeze and sharp serrations to make locking back just as easy. Upon close comparison between this one and the factory, they are not that different. This one protrudes slightly more and has more serrations, but the serrations are very shallow.
